The Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Select Committee is a group of MPs whose job is to scrutinise the work BEIS, the government department primarily responsible for climate policy.

The BEIS Select Committee was one of several committees to commissions Climate Assembly UK. They are currently doing work to look at the impact of the Climate Assembly and how different stakeholders, including the Government, have used the Assembly findings.

Following our submission to the Committees call for evidence, project lead Rebecca Willis was invited to give oral evidence.
